I'm pretty sure I began OlliutonDesigns with the first rearrangement of my bedroom when I was seven years old.  I remember asking my brothers to move the furniture and then doing a BIG family reveal when it was complete!  Apparently, I've always loved a transformation.

My design aesthetic is a reflection of the life I live and the life I've lived.  The mistakes that became lessons have taught me to extend grace and patience to myself, and that philosophy guides every design.  The name Olliuton is a blend of my maiden and married names, which feels fitting because my creativity is rooted in a combination of my past, my present and what is still to come.  I draw inspiration from where I've lived, studied, traveled and from the experiences that have shaped how I see home.

I spent twenty years in the legal profession, but creativity was always finding its way out through the spaces I lived in.  Girls used to pay me to rearrange and style their dorm rooms after seeing mine. Throughout life, friends and acquaintances began asking me to do the same for them and what felt instinctive began to reveal itself as something more.

Today, OlliutonDesigns brings those two sides of me together: the creative eye that sees possibility in a space and the detail-oriented professional who knows how to thoughtfully bring that vision to life, with a graceful and patient approach that leads to something uniquely beautiful.
